ZnGa2O4 : Cr3+@Calcium Phosphate Nanocomposite with Near‐Infrared Persistent Luminescence and High Stability

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, Volume 7, Issue 12, December 2023., 2023
Shine bright: Persistent luminescent Cr‐doped ZnGa2O4 (CZGO) is incorporated into an amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) matrix. Annealing CZGO prior to ACP integration greatly improves its luminescence intensity and duration. Zn2+ redistribution from CZGO to ACP is identified, leading to the formation of Zn3(PO4)2 when immersed in water.

Noise simulation in classification with the noisemodel R package: Applications analyzing the impact of errors with chemical data

open access: yesJournal of Chemometrics, Volume 37, Issue 5, May 2023., 2023
Abstract Classification datasets created from chemical processes can be affected by errors, which impair the accuracy of the models built. This fact highlights the importance of analyzing the robustness of classifiers against different types and levels of noise to know their behavior against potential errors.

Investigation on compression and mildew of mixed and separated maize

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 11, Issue 5, Page 2118-2129, May 2023., 2023
This study explores the influence of three segregation configurations on the creep behaviors and mildew of maize. A newly empirical analytical‐numerical method was established to evaluate the heat generated by fungi, considering segregation configuration and compression.

Local structures and electronic band states of α−Fe2O3 polycrystalline particles in the glazes of the HIZEN celadons produced in the Edo period of Japan, by means of X-ray absorption spectra (II) Estruturas locais e estados de banda de partículas policristalinas nos esmaltes de celadons Hizen produzidos no período Edo do Japão, por meio de espectros de absorção de raios X (II)

open access: yesCerâmica, 2011
HIZEN celadon glazes produced in 1630's to 1790's (Edo period, Japan) have been investigated by means of X-ray absorption spectra (XAS) near a Fe-K edge by using synchrotron radiation and a Mössbauer spectrum.
