Distribution of concanavalin A receptors in thymocytes and spleen cells during cell movement

Journal of Ultrastructure Research, 1981
The spontaneous (ligand-independent) changes in the distribution of concanavalin A (Con A) receptors, which occur in thymocytes and spleen lymphocytes when the cells become morphologically polarized during cell movement have been studied by immunoelectronmicroscopy.

Geminivirus-Induced Macrotubules and Their Suggested Role in Cell-to-Cell Movement

Phytopathology, 1992
Ultrastructural responses of Datura stramonium (an experimental host of Euphorbia mosaic virus, a whitefly-transmitted geminivirus) were studied in situ. Cells of the earliest chlorotic lesions in mechanically inoculated leaves revealed cytopathic effects that were not observed in systemically infected leaves or in advanced lesions of inoculated leaves.
