Journal of the Fuel Society of Japan, 1955 当社では竪窯を陣用し, 燃料として無煙炭を用い造粒法によるセメント製造試験を行ってきたが主としてその製造工程, 試運転期間中の運転状況に関する実績を詳細に報告した。竪窯の建設費, 燃料および電力の消費量はいづれもロータリーキルンに比し著しく少く, 造られたセメントの品質も大体において, その他の市販セメントに比して遜色がない。燃料の灰分, 造粒原料の粉化などになお多少改善さるべき点が残されているが竪窯によるセメントのコストを3割も引下げ得るので將来の発展を切望する。
