THE EFFECT OF GROUND GLASS WASTE ON PROPERTIES OF HARDENED CEMENT PASTE AND MORTAR
The article addresses the effect of finely ground waste glass on the properties of hardened cement paste and mortar. Cement mixtures were formulated by replacing 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %, 25 %, and 30 % of cement with ground waste glass.

Damage Localisation in Fresh Cement Mortar Observed via In Situ (Timelapse) X-ray μCT imaging [PDF]
This paper presents the outcome of a study focused on the evolution of internal damage in fresh cement mortar over 25 hours of hardening. In situ timelapse X-ray computed micro-tomography ({\mu}XCT) imaging method was used to detect internal damage and capture its evolution in cement mortar hardening.

Facile Preparation of Durable Multicolor Superhydrophobic Coatings for Concrete Protection
The colored superhydrophobic coatings (CSC)multi‐colored superhydrophobic coatings prepared by a simplified one‐step spraying method to demonstrate exceptional durability and stability following prolonged mechanical abrasion and tape stripping tests, as well as under a range of acidic, alkaline, and harsh environmental conditions.

On Slow Dynamic Elasticity at short times [PDF]
It has been reported that slow dynamic nonlinear elastic relaxations, widely thought to proceed in proportion to the logarithm of time since mechanical conditioning ceases, recover at a diminished rate at early times, with a time of transition that varies with the grain size of the material.

Silicosarcoidosis: Histologic and Clinical Features of an Occupational Granulomatous Disease
ABSTRACT Sarcoidosis is a multisystem inflammatory disease of unknown etiology. Growing evidence indicates that occupational exposure to respirable crystalline silica (RCS) is associated with an increased incidence of sarcoidosis. Yet a diagnosis of sarcoidosis rarely prompts investigation to identify preventable exposures.

Sustainable Pathways for the Synthesis of Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate
Calcium sulfate hemihydrate (bassanite) plays a key role in construction as a hydraulic binder. Due to its instability in water, industrial production primarily relies on thermal dehydration of gypsum. This review examines alternative, potentially more sustainable methods for the synthesis of bassanite, including gypsum conversion at lower temperatures
