Kekuatan perlekatan geser semen ionomer kaca terhadap dentin dan NiCr alloy (Shear bond strenght of glass ionomer cement in dentin and NiCr alloy)

open access: yesDental Journal, 2006
Glass ionomer cements were used broadly in restorative dentistry. That’s why researchers always try to invent new form of glass ionomer cement. The newest invention was the paste-paste formulation.

Thermal Coefficients of Paste-Paste Type Pulp Capping Cements

open access: yesDental Materials Journal, 1992
Thermal coefficients of four kinds of commercially available paste-paste type pulp capping cements were examined. Control reference samples were made of dentin. A thermal coefficient analyzer was used, heating specimens for a few nanoseconds by a xenon flash bulb and measuring thermal changes by using a thermocouple.

Circular Potential of Lithium‐Ion Battery Recycling Slags: Quantifying Microstructure and Elemental Distribution for a Holistic Valorization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A lithium‐bearing slag is investigated with the goal of holistic valorization. The present β‐eucryptite (LiAlSiO4) exhibits a high lithium content and low levels of impurities. The spinel contains most of the chromium and vanadium, representing additional valorization opportunities.

Improving the chloride binding capacity of cement paste by adding nano-Al2O3

open access: yesConstruction and Building Materials, 2019
The chloride binding capacity of cement paste is of critical importance to the durability of reinforced concrete structure. In this study, nano-Al2O3 (NA) was considered as an additive to be used in cement paste.

Yield stress of aerated cement paste [PDF]

open access: yesCement and Concrete Research, 2019
Yield stress of aerated cement paste is studied. Samples are prepared by mixing aqueous foam with cement paste, which allows controlling bubble size, gas volume fraction and yield stress of the cement paste.

Phase‐Change Alloys Enable Localized Reversible Stiffening and Actuation in Steerable Eversion Tip‐Growing Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This work presents a tip‐growing eversion robot that uses phase‐changing alloys for reversible stiffening and localized actuation, achieving 43× stiffness modulation, 15× force amplification, and segmental steering. The system enables precise navigation and force delivery in constrained, tortuous pathways.

Technobiological Pathways for High‐CO₂ Capture Using Micro‐/Macroalgae: Genetic Engineering, Process Automation, and Value‐Added Bioproducts

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...

Effect of montmorillonite as additive on the properties of cement-based composites

open access: yesScience and Engineering of Composite Materials, 2012
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of montmorillonite as additive on the properties of cement paste and mortar. Montmorillonite was used at 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% additive by weight of cement, and the water/cement ratios of 0.45 and 0.55 ...

Treatments on Polypropylene Macro Synthetic Fibers for Improving Adhesion in Structural Concrete Reinforcement: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Surface functionalization of polypropylene macrofibers to enhance fiber‐matrix interfacial bonding. ABSTRACT Concrete is the most used higher compressive strength‐building material, albeit brittle to tensile, and flexural loads. Polypropylene (PP) synthetic polymeric macrofibres are commonly employed as reinforcement material to prevent this situation ...
