Robust algorithm for point matching in uncalibrated stereo vision systems

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2005
This article introduces a new point matching algorithm for stereo images. The cameras used for capturing the image do not need to be calibrated. The only requirement is the existence of a set of segmented corners in each image.

DTCTH: a discriminative local pattern descriptor for image classification

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing, 2017
Despite lots of effort being exerted in designing feature descriptors, it is still challenging to find generalized feature descriptors, with acceptable discrimination ability, which are able to capture prominent features in various image processing ...

Sustainable Innovation and Impact on Triple Bottom Line Performance: Are Innovation Types Simple Mediators?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the way sustainable innovation, conceptualized as a second‐order construct integrating sustainable orientation and innovation culture, impacts triple bottom line (TBL) performance. It also examines the mediating roles of product, process, organizational, and marketing innovations.

Depth Map Estimation Using Census Transform for Light Field Cameras

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Information and Systems, 2016
Depth estimation for the lense-array type cameras is a challenging problem because of sensor noise and radiometric distortion which is a global brightness change between sub-aperture images caused by a vignetting effect of the micro-lenses. We propose a depth map estimation method which has robustness against the sensor noise and the radiometric ...

Measuring Consumer Aversion Toward AI in Marketing Communication and Assessing Its Relationship to Brand Perceptions and Purchase Intention

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Some consumers exhibit aversion toward artificial intelligence (AI), particularly when it is embedded in persuasive marketing communication (MarCom). Here, we developed and validated a measure of consumer aversion to AI in MarCom and examined its downstream consequences for brand perceptions and purchase intention.

Stable marked point processes

open access: yes, 2007
In many contexts such as queuing theory, spatial statistics, geostatistics and meteorology, data are observed at irregular spatial positions. One model of this situation involves considering the observation points as generated by a Poisson process. Under
