Centers of graded fusion categories [PDF]

open access: yesAlgebra Number Theory 3 (2009), no. 8, 959-990, 2009
Let C be a fusion category faithfully graded by a finite group G and let D be the trivial component of this grading. The center Z(C) of C is shown to be canonically equivalent to a G-equivariantization of the relative center Z_D(C). We use this result to obtain a criterion for C to be group-theoretical and apply it to Tambara-Yamagami fusion categories.

Module Eilenberg-Watts calculus [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
The categorical formulation of the Eilenberg-Watts calculus relates, for any pair of finite categories M and N, the finite categories Fun^{le}(N,M) and Fun^{re}(N,M) of linear left or right exact functors and the Deligne product \bar N \boxtimes M by adjoint equivalences. We establish a variant of this calculus for the case that the finite categories M

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Del “instante” y la categoría de lo posible/On the “instant” and thecategory of possibility

Homotopy and duality in non-Abelian lattice gauge theory

open access: yes, 2003
We propose an approach of lattice gauge theory based on a homotopic interpretation of its degrees of freedom. The basic idea is to dress the plaquettes of the lattice to view them as elementary homotopies between nearby paths.

Equivariant categories from categorical group actions on monoidal categories [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
G-equivariant modular categories provide the input for a standard method to construct 3d homotopy field theories. Virelizier constructed a G-equivariant category from the action of a group G on a Hopf algebra H by Hopf algebra automorphisms. The neutral component of his category is the Drinfeld center of the category of H-modules.

Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

An institutional history. Note on the Center of Hispanic-American Letters-CELEHIS

open access: yesEstudios de Teoría Literaria, 2016
The note summarizes the origin and development of CELEHIS (Center of Hispanic American Literature), an agency of the Faculty of Humanities, UNMdP. This institutional area dedicated to research arises at the beginning of the democratic opening (1984) and ...

Hypertoric category O

open access: yes, 2014
We study the representation theory of the invariant subalgebra of the Weyl algebra under a torus action, which we call a "hypertoric enveloping algebra." We define an analogue of BGG category O for this algebra, and identify it with a certain category of

Drinfeld centers for bicategories [PDF]

open access: yesDoc. Math. 20 (2015) 707-735, 2014
We generalize Drinfeld's notion of the center of a tensor category to bicategories. In this generality, we present a spectral sequence to compute the basic invariants of Drinfeld centers: the abelian monoid of isomorphism classes of objects, and the abelian automorphism group of its identity object.
