Applied Engineering in Agriculture, 1987CORROSIVE ground water can drastically reduce the useful life of a center pivot irrigation system. A number of treatment systems were reviewed as potential solutions to the corrosive water problem. Based on this evaluation, a treatment system was developed and tried on three irrigation systems.
