Metachromatic Butterfly Bile Pigments for Multi‐Level Optical Security Films
Bio‐derived optical security materials are manufactured by embedding butterfly‐based pigments in polymer films. Tunable color and fluorescence responses arise from concentration‐controlled metachromasy, enabling spatially encoded patterns with distinct visible, UV‐active, and spectral signatures.

Monetary policy rules and stability: inflation targeting versus price-level targeting [PDF]
Monetary policy rules help central banks exercise the discipline necessary to achieve their long-term goals. The type of rule many banks are turning to these days is inflation targeting, which has several advantages.

Criteria for central bank assets: lessons from pre-ECB Germany [PDF]
The Deutsche Bundesbank was formed in July 1957, when the two-tier central bank system set up following World War II was consolidated. That previous system had been established by the Allies in imitation of the Federal Reserve System and consisted of ...

A 3D biomimetic OS model was developed by bioprinting an OS‐cell‐derived dECM‐enriched bioink with OS spheroids incorporated. The model showed upregulation of known OS prognostic markers and increased resistance to doxorubicin, compared to 2D cultures and scaffold‐free spheroids, making this a more clinically relevant platform for drug discovery ...

This manuscript describes the cultivation of viable microvessels from cryopreserved human brain tissue. When embedded in hydrogels and cultured in microfluidic devices, these microvessels exhibit complex architectures reminiscent of arterioles and capillaries, can be perfused, and display intact barrier function. Collectively, these results demonstrate
