COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

This study's goal is to maximize the soil's iron revocation process by exploiting the CCD (Central Composite Design) and RSM (Response Surface Method) experimental designs. Kendari, Kolaka, and Southeast Sulawesi are the laterite rocks used in this study. XRF testing is used to identify the mineral components contained in laterite rocks.

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Optimized U-type Designs on Flexible Regions [PDF]
The concept of a flexible region describes an infinite variety of symmetrical shapes to enclose a particular region of interest within a space. In experimental design, the properties of a function on the region of interest is analyzed based on a set of ...

Bottom‐Up Programming of Cell States in Cancer Organoids with Defined Synthetic Adhesion Cues
A bottom‐up biomaterial platform is developed to program transcriptomic states in pancreatic cancer organoids by tuning adhesion cues within synthetic matrices. By combining a Design of Experiments framework with multiobjective optimization, matrix compositions are identified that enrich specific cellular programs like EMT.

Practical inference from industrial split-plot designs. [PDF]
Many industrial response surface experiments are deliberately not conducted in a completely randomized fashion. This is because some of the factors investigated in the experiment are hard to change.
