The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1977A worm removed intact from the anterior chamber of the left eye of a 23-year-old woman from Central Java was identified as a mle Angiostrongylus cantonensis, 11.1 mm in length and 0.24 mm in maximum width.
