[Estimation of the SOA Formation Potential of the National Trunk Highway in Central Plains Urban Agglomeration].

Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2021
Secondary organic aerosols (SOAs) are among the main components of air pollution. Accurately estimating SOAs formed from automobile exhaust is crucial for controlling and mitigating traffic air pollution. Sufficient monitoring data is difficult for regional analysis owing to limited monitoring data over a small area or few observation stations ...

An elaborate high resolution emission inventory of primary air pollutants for the Central Plain Urban Agglomeration of China

Atmospheric Environment, 2014
Abstract A high resolution emission inventory of primary air pollutants was developed based on the detailed collected activity data and the latest source-specific emission factors for the year 2010 in the Central Plain Urban Agglomeration (CPUA) region of China.

Optimizing land use spatial patterns to balance urban development and resource-environmental constraints: A case study of China's Central Plains Urban Agglomeration

Journal of Environmental Management
The unprecedented urbanization of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration (CPUA) has significantly improved human well-being but has also led to severe land degradation and environmental challenges. Spatial zoning is a crucial tool for advancing sustainable land management in urban agglomerations.

Spatio-temporal differentiation characteristics and the influencing factors of PM2.5 emissions from coal consumption in Central Plains Urban Agglomeration

Science of The Total Environment
Central Plains urban agglomeration (CPUA) had developed rapidly, but its air pollution was also serious. Despite advances in study on China's PM2.5 emissions from coal consumption (CC), the differentiation characteristics and the affecting variables of PM2.5 in CPUA required further investigation.

Influences of moisture transport on changes in extreme precipitation in Central Plains Urban Agglomeration, China

In recent decades, the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration of China (CPUA) has faced recurring extreme precipitation events (EPEs), causing severe flood disasters, endangering residents, and inducing significant property losses. This study examines the spatiotemporal patterns of summer EPEs in the CPUA from 1961 to 2022.
