Dynamic Modeling of a Central Receiver CSP System in Modelica [PDF]

open access: yesLinköping Electronic Conference Proceedings, 2015
A dynamic model of the Solar Two test facililty has been implemented in Modelica. The model consists of a set of Central Receiver specific CSP components, along with a Rankine cycle to form a complete system. Main components include models of a sun, heliostat field, receiver, storage tank and a Rankine cycle including a steam generator.

A Flux Mapping Method for Central Receiver Systems

open access: yesASME 2011 5th International Conference on Energy Sustainability, Parts A, B, and C, 2011
A new method is described to determine irradiance distributions on receivers and targets from heliostats or other collectors for concentrating solar power applications. The method uses a CCD camera, and, unlike previous beam characterization systems, it does not require additional sensors, calorimeters, or flux gauges on the receiver or target.

Algorithm of FBG Spectrum Distortion Correction for Optical Spectra Analyzers with CCD Elements

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Nonlinear spectrum distortions are caused by the peculiarities of the operation of charge-coupled device elements (CCD), in which the signal exposition time (Time of INTegration–TINT) is one of the significant parameters.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
