Symmetries of holomorphic geometric structures on tori [PDF]
We prove that any holomorphic locally homogeneous geometric structure on a complex torus, modelled on a complex homogeneous surface, is translation invariant. We conjecture that this result is true is any dimension.

Endotrivial Modules for the General Linear Group in a Nondefining Characteristic [PDF]
Suppose that $G$ is a finite group such that $\operatorname{SL}(n,q)\subseteq G \subseteq \operatorname{GL}(n,q)$, and that $Z$ is a central subgroup of $G$. Let $T(G/Z)$ be the abelian group of equivalence classes of endotrivial $k(G/Z)$-modules, where $

Centrality and normality in protomodular categories
In this paper the authors study the relationship between the notion of centrality for congruences in a Mal'cev variety, introduced by \textit{J. D. H. Smith}, and the notion of normal monomorphism in a protomodular category, introduced by the first author.

Oligodendrogenesis in the normal and pathological central nervous system [PDF]
Oligodendrocytes (OLGs) are generated late in development and myelination is thus a tardive event in the brain developmental process. It is however maintained whole life long at lower rate, and myelin sheath is crucial for proper signal transmission and neuronal survival.

Finite groups acting on 3-manifolds and cyclic branched coverings of knots
We are interested in finite groups acting orientation-preservingly on 3-manifolds (arbitrary actions, ie not necessarily free actions). In particular we consider finite groups which contain an involution with nonempty connected fixed point set.

An Approach to Lagrange’s Theorem in Pythagorean Fuzzy Subgroups
The Pythagorean fuzzy environment is a modern way of depicting uncertainty. The concept of Pythagorean fuzzy semi-level subgroups of any group is described in this paper.

Normal and Pathological NRF2 Signalling in the Central Nervous System
The nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2) was originally described as a master regulator of antioxidant cellular response, but in the time since, numerous important biological functions linked to cell survival, cellular detoxification, metabolism, autophagy, proteostasis, inflammation, immunity, and differentiation have been attributed to ...

The automorphism group of accessible groups
In this article, we study the outer automorphism group of a group G decomposed as a finite graph of group with finite edge groups and finitely generated vertex groups with at most one end.

Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

Extending representations of normed algebras in Banach spaces [PDF]
Let X be a non-degenerate left Banach module over a normed algebra A having a bounded approximate left identity. We show that, if A is a left ideal of a larger algebra, then this representation can be extended to a representation of the larger algebra ...
