FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

Assessment of the clinical procedures used for determination of vertical dimension of occlusion and centric relation in edentulous patients [PDF]

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Stomatology
Background and aim. This study aims to explore the most widely used methods for managing patients who are completely edentulous to determine the intermaxillary relations, also known as the centric relation and vertical dimension of occlusion.

Evaluation of the quantitative accuracy of 3D reconstruction of edentulous jaw models with jaw relation based on reference point system alignment. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
OBJECTIVES:To apply contact measurement and reference point system (RPS) alignment techniques to establish a method for 3D reconstruction of the edentulous jaw models with centric relation and to quantitatively evaluate its accuracy.

The immunological interface: dendritic cells as key regulators in metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) affects nearly one‐third of the global population and poses a significant risk of progression to cirrhosis or liver cancer. Here, we discuss the roles of hepatic dendritic cell subtypes in MASLD, highlighting their distinct contributions to disease initiation and progression, and their ...

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INTERMAXILLARY REGISTRATION: ANTERIOR JIG METHOD VS. CLASSIC APPROACH IN ANTERIOR REHABILITATION WITH LATERAL OCCLUSAL CONTACT PRESERVATION

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Oral Rehabilitation
This study compares the anterior jig method with the classic bimanual technique for recording intermaxillary relations in patients who have lost anterior occlusal stops.

EventKG+Click: A Dataset of Language-specific Event-centric User Interaction Traces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
An increasing need to analyse event-centric cross-lingual information calls for innovative user interaction models that assist users in crossing the language barrier. However, datasets that reflect user interaction traces in cross-lingual settings required to train and evaluate the user interaction models are mostly missing.

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

Probing the truncation of galaxy dark matter halos in high density environments from hydrodynamical N-body simulations

open access: yes, 2009
We analyze high resolution, N-body hydrodynamical simulations of fiducial galaxy clusters to probe tidal stripping of the dark matter subhalos. These simulations include a prescription for star formation allowing us to track the fate of the stellar ...

Object-Centric Alignments [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Processes tend to interact with other processes and operate on various objects of different types. These objects can influence each other creating dependencies between sub-processes. Analyzing the conformance of such complex processes challenges traditional conformance-checking approaches because they assume a single-case identifier for a process.
