Centrifuge model test on the retrogressive landslide subjected to reservoir water level fluctuation
Engineering Geology, 2018Geological disasters have occurred frequently in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. Therefore, the stability and failure mode research on riverside landslides has become increasingly important.

Centrifuge Testing of Offshore Filters
Geotechnical Testing Journal, 2006Abstract This paper presents original centrifuge tests performed to study the interaction between clay soils and various filter types proposed for use in the under-base pumping system on the Yolla A Platform foundations. The experimental device described allows a “suction” to be applied behind the face of the filter, and to study ...

Auditory Habituation: A Test of a Centrifugal and a Peripheral Theory
Science, 1965Evoked potentials recorded at the cochlear nucleus of unanesthetized cats show that auditory habituation is a process with a rapid onset and a slower rate of dissipation, and that the habituation is a direct function of the rate of stimulation. Neither the middle ear muscles nor the reticular formation appear to participate in this process.

The testing and analysis of the centrifugal high-speed atomizer
2012 IEEE 11th International Conference on Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing, 2012The centrifugal high-speed atomizer is running at high speed, it makes micron liquid-drop in order that chemical reaction happened between micron drop and harmful gas. Its function has direct impact to the emission produced from WTE plant. Meanwhile, the emission from the plant must meet the standard.

The Determination of Meningococcic Antibodies by a Centrifuge-Agglutination Test
The Journal of Immunology, 1945Summary and Conclusions A method for the determination of agglutinins against N. intracellularis by the use of the centrifuge is described and the theoretical reasons for its superiority are given. Four hundred and four specimens of serum from 121 subjects with and without meningococcal infections were examined by this method.

Centrifuge model testing at Caltech
International Journal of Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, 1983Abstract In the past eight years a variety of model tests has been performed on the geotechnical centrifuge at Caltech. They include soil mechanics experiments, such as static and dynamic pile and foundation tests, and other investigations of a more geographical nature where ground faulting and earthquake motions have been modeled.
