The Intermediate-Period Cepheid Strip Stars
To explore the population of variable stars that fall between RR Lyrae stars and classical Cepheids, we have obtained extensive photometric observations for 56 stars with periods between 0.6 and 1.0 days.

Spectra of Population II Cepheid Variable Stars
1958The physical properties of the population II cepheids have been studied using the following material: photoelectric observations of Arp, low dispersion spectra of Joy, high dispersion spectra taken by Sanford and Abt, and numerous moderate dispersion spectra obtained by the author. Radial velocity curves for ten cepheids are shown.

A New Approach to the Determination of the Intrintic Colours of the Cepheid Variable Stars
International Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1979SummaryIntrinsic colours have been determined for 247 of the 275 variable stars listed in the “Catalogue of the Light and Colour Curves of Cepheids in the UBV System” by N. Nikolov. Algorithms for computing intrinsic colour are derived from 59 standard stars.

Domain Adaptation under Data Misalignment: An Application to Cepheid Variable Star Classification
2014 22nd International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2014We address a particular scenario within the area of domain adaptation, where a predictive model obtained from a source domain can be applied directly to a target domain. Both source and target domains share the same input or feature space, but we do not impose any restrictions on the marginal and class posterior distributions (both distributions can ...

Finding Cepheid Variable Stars in Northern Dwarf Galaxies of the Local Group
