Effect of Peanut Shell Powder as a Pore‐Forming Additive in the Production of Ceramic Membranes

This study investigates the sustainable use of an agricultural by‐product, Peanut shell powder (PSP), to create pores in clay‐alumina membranes sintered at 1150°C. With 30 wt.% PSP, porosity reaches 49%, achieving high water flux (∼2300 L·h−1·m−2) and usable strength (17 MPa). Ideal for low‐cost membrane and effluent treatment.

Pressure‐Driven Structural Distortion in Cold Sintered LiFePO4|Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 Composite Solid Electrolyte Bilayers

Cold sintering pressure critically affects LiFePO4‐composite solid electrolyte bilayers' performance. High pressure (720 MPa) causes lattice distortions and irreversible phase changes, impairing lithium diffusion and cycling stability, while lower pressure (300 MPa) preserves structure and enables superior battery performance.

Uniform and bead‐free PLA fibers containing functional biobased plasticizers for potential application in food packaging are prepared by force‐spinning technique.
