Wetting of ceramic-metal and ceramic-ceramic interfaces

[Proceedings] 1990 IEEE 7th International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics, 2002
Contact angles of the metal-ceramic interface in a heating process were measured until the metal melted. Ag on BaTiO/sub 3/ disks melted with an almost hemispherical shape at an obtuse angle and did not wet to BaTiO/sub 3/. Metal Ag on superconducting Ba/sub 2/Y/sub 1/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7- delta / showed better wetting than in the case of BaTiO/sub 3 ...
