Piezoelectric ceramic transformers and filters
Journal of the British Institution of Radio Engineers, 1961The development of improved piezoelectric ceramics has enabled these materials to be used in the design of electronic components. Two new devices are described embodying piezoelectric principles of operation and relying on electromechanical resonance to obtain efficient energy transformation.

Ceramic filters in mobile communications
IEE Seminar Microwave Filters and Multiplexers, 2000Dielectric resonators find their use in a wide range of applications for mobile communications. Suspended resonators, notably TE01δ mode resonators, are optimal when very high Qu are needed, typically in very low-loss narrow band filters. When further volume reduction is needed, the degeneracy of multimode resonances is used.

Granular ceramic filter elements
1997Gas cleaning temperatures have been increasing ever since heat-resistant fabrics boosted the limit for baghouse filtration to 250°C. More recently, commercial hot gas cleaning products, based largely on ceramics, have trebled this temperature limit, allowing even the hottest flue gases to be filtered without cooling. Technical advances promise to raise
