Monolithic Integrated Ceramic Waveguide Filters [PDF]
Design techniques for a new class of integrated monolithic high permittivity ceramic waveguide filters are presented. These filters enable a size reduction of 50% compared to air-filled TEM filters with the same unloaded Q-Factor.

Filters were formed from ceramic fibers, organic fibers, and a ceramic bond phase using a papermaking technique. The distribution of particulate ceramic bond phase was determined using a model silicon carbide system. As the ceramic fiber increased in length and diameter the distance between particles decreased.

Design and Realization of Chebyshev Bandstop Filters Based on Ceramic Resonators [PDF]
Distributed bandpass or band-reject filters generally become larger as the design center frequency decreases. To achieve suitable filters with small dimensions even at center frequencies below 2 GHz, ceramic resonators can be used.
