Testing ceramic filter elements

Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, 2010
It is shown that for cleaning hot (above 350°C) gases from highly disperse dust (carbon black) to low residual concentrations of it (not more than 1 mg/m3), it is advisable to use heat-resistant ceramic filter elements in which aluminosilicate fibers are used as filler and a mixture of organic and inorganic substances as binder.
