Development of Molecular Markers for the Detection of Ceratobasidium sp. D.P. Rogers Associated with Vascular Streak Dieback of Woody Ornamentals in the United States

Plant Disease
Vascular streak dieback (VSD) poses a significant threat to the sustainability of woody ornamentals in the United States (U.S.), particularly Cercis spp. (redbud). This study aimed to develop reliable molecular diagnostic tools for detecting Ceratobasidium sp. D.P.

Identification and Quantification of Pathogenic Binucleate Ceratobasidium sp. AG-K Responsible for Root Coarse Bark Disease (Makou) in Angelica sinensis in Dingxi, China

Plant Disease
Makou disease is a grave disease in the production of Angelica sinensis, seriously affecting this plant’s yield and quality. Its typical symptoms include yellowing and necrotic spots on leaves of infected plants and the belowground are longitudinal brown cracks (depth is about 1–2 mm) in the root epidermis. The symptoms of Makou disease are completely

Genomic insights into Ceratobasidium sp. associated with vascular streak dieback of woody ornamentals in the United States using a metagenomic sequencing approach

MinHash (sourmash) database for fungi and oomycetes, built from 19,646 reference genomes with k=31. This collection of genome sketches (and accompanying SBT/LCA indexes, if included) enables fast similarity search, gather containment analysis, and lightweight taxonomic screening for metagenomes and assemblies.
