Abstract Background In patients resuscitated after cardiac arrest, a higher mean arterial pressure (MAP) may increase cerebral perfusion and attenuate hypoxic brain injury. Here we present the protocol of the mean arterial pressure after cardiac arrest and resuscitation (MAP‐CARE) trial aiming to investigate the influence of MAP targets on patient ...

Imaging of cerebral venous thrombosis
Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a potentially life-threatening emergency. The wide ranging of clinical symptoms makes the use of imaging in "slices" even more important for diagnosis. Clonal Hematopoiesis and Thrombosis
ABSTRACT Clonal hematopoiesis (CH) has been the focus of many research efforts in the last years and has emerged as a risk modifier for cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality. While substantial evidence has accumulated regarding its impact on arterial system diseases, the connection with venous thrombosis has only recently been explored.
