Neuropsychomotricity in water: A new rehabilitative tool for neruodevelop-mental disorders [PDF]
Neuropsychomotricity in water is a rehabilitative practice that avails itself just of the liquid element, as a mediator of relationships: in water yes they upset all dynamics, be they relational, of equilibrium, of movement and perception, due to the ...

ABSTRACT This study aimed to explore whether the three primary sensory attributes—fruitiness, bitterness, and pungency—could be used to discriminate among seven Greek olive oil varieties. Sensory data from 110 extra virgin olive oil samples, collected over 9 years by the Kalamata Olive Oil Taste Laboratory, were analyzed using principal component ...

Lipid peroxidation and apoptotic response in rat brain areas induced by long-term administration of nandrolone: the mutual crosstalk between ROS and NF-kB [PDF]
The aim of this study was to evaluate the played by oxidative stress in the apoptotic response in different brain areas of rats chronically treated with supra-physiological doses of nandrolone decanoate (ND).

How Inert is Single‐Stranded DNA Towards DNA‐Stabilized Silver Nanoclusters? A Case Study
The presence of bare DNA oligomers adversely affects the chemical stability of the (DNA)2[Ag16Cl2]8+ nanocluster, which is important for biological applications. To keep the DNA‐stabilized silver nanocluster intact, two protection strategies are implemented: hybridization of the DNA strands with the corresponding complementary sequences, and ...

Antioxidants, radical-scavenging and protein carbonylation inhibition capacity of six monocultivar virgin olive oils in Istria (Croatia) [PDF]
Six monocultivar virgin olive oils (VOOs) produced from five autochthonous (Buža, Buža Puntoža, Istarska Bjelica, Porečka Rosulja, and Rosinjola) and one referent cultivar (Leccino), were investigated.

Hydration Sensitive Orthogonal Dual Emission of a DNA‐Stabilized Silver Nanocluster
A DNA‐stabilized silver nanocluster ((DNA)2‐[Ag11]7+) is found to exhibit dual emission with the ns‐green fluorescence orthogonal to the µs‐red luminescence. The luminescence of the DNA‐AgNC is found to be sensitive to the hydration level, with water suppressing the intensity and shortening the decay time of the long‐lived state.

Atomic Structure of a DNA‐Stabilized Ag11 Nanocluster with Four Valence Electrons
A roadmap for determining the atomic structure of a DNA‐stabilized 4‐valence electron [Ag11]7+ nanocluster is presented. The combination of single crystal X‐ray diffraction and mass spectrometry allows for the first structural glimpse of this recurring green/dual emitter.
