Microstructure characteristics and tribological behavior of biomedical Zr-2.5Nb alloy after thermal oxidation at 600 ℃

The microstructure characteristics of oxide layers prepared on Zr-2.5Nb alloys were investigated using TEM and TKD. The influence of microstructure on the tribological performance, adhesion, and wettability properties for oxidized zirconium was analyzed.

ABSTRACT Relapsed and/or refractory (R/R) pediatric acute leukemia carries a dismal prognosis, largely driven by chemoresistance to conventional salvage therapy. The BH3‐mimetic venetoclax, combined with chemotherapy or hypomethylating agents, has demonstrated efficacy in small clinical trials.

Evaluation of Indigenous Entomopathogenic Nematodes as Potential Biocontrol Agents against Popillia japonica (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) in Northern Italy

The natural presence of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) has been investigated in the Piedmont region (Northern Italy) in areas infested by the Japanese beetle Popillia japonica. Thirty-nine out of 155 soil samples (25.2%) were positive for EPNs.
