Loss of NAPRT promotes lung tumor initiation and growth through a noncanonical mechanism, independent of its role in NAD+ biosynthesis. Mechanistically, NAPRT depletion activates the mTORC2‐driven AKT/β‐catenin signaling axis to enhance clonogenic and invasive phenotypes.
