Demonstrating the comparability of certified reference materials
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2009Certified reference materials (CRMs) enable the meaningful comparison of measurement results over time and place. When CRMs are used to calibrate or verify the performance of a measurement system, results produced by that system can be related through the CRM to well-defined, stable, and globally accessible reference(s).

A Certified Reference Material for HPLC
Chromatographia, 2005A column and test samples have been produced as a Certified Reference Material (CRM) for use in HPLC. A round robin certification procedure has demonstrated that the retention and relative retention properties of the column, measured as the values of shape selectivity, hydrophobicity and ion-exchange activity at pH 7.0, under closely specified ...

Reference materials and certified reference materials for spectrometry in Romania
Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry, 2001Several reference materials (RMs) and certified reference materials (CRMs) are widely used in Romania as measurement standards in different spectrochemical measurements. Among them, single element standard solution certified for their mass concentration play a key role in ensuring the required traceability of results expressed in this measurement unit.

Certified reference materials for thermal analysis
Journal of Thermal Analysis, 1988Eight inorganic substances recommended by ICTA as temperature standard reference materials for DTA and DSC were studied: KNO3, KClO4, Ag2SO4, K2CrO4, quartz, K2SO4, BaCO3 and SrCO3. The content of pure component in each of these substances was determined by classical chemical analysis.
