Preparation of the Reference Materials for Rb-Sr and Sm-Nd Isotope Analysis
BACKGROUND: One Rb-Sr certified reference materials (GBW04411) and one Sm-Nd certified reference materials (GBW04419) for geological age, which are potash feldspar and basalt respectively, were produced and certified about 30 years ago.

Preparation of Standard Materials for Composition Analysis of Stone Coal Vanadium Ore
BACKGROUND The development and rational utilization of stone coal vanadium ore resources require accurate analysis of its components and quality control. At present, there is no standard material for composition analysis of vanadium ore in the world, and

A quantum random number generator certified by value indefiniteness [PDF]
In this paper we propose a quantum random number generator (QRNG) that uses an entangled photon pair in a Bell singlet state and is certified explicitly by value indefiniteness. While ‘true randomness’ is a mathematical impossibility, the certification by value indefiniteness ensures that the quantum random bits are incomputable in the strongest sense.

Value creation for tenants in environmentally certified buildings [PDF]
Previous research suggests that environmental certification (EC) affects rental rates in non-residential buildings, but there is still little understanding of how tenants differentiate such buildings from those without EC. This paper examines whether and how tenants perceive value creation in EC premises in Sweden.

The perceived value of certification by certified perioperative nurses
We conducted this study to determine the perceived value of certification in perioperative nursing. Following development and pilot-testing, we mailed the 18-item Likert-type instrument, the Perceived Value of Certification Tool (PVCT), to a sample of 2750 perioperative nurses who had earned the CNOR or CRNFA credential or both. A total of 1398 surveys
