Indicators for Cervical Length in Twin Pregnancies
American Journal of Perinatology, 2015Cervical length (CL) is associated with the risk of preterm birth (PTB) in multiple pregnancies. However, the position of CL within the pathophysiological pathway of PTB is unclear, and it is unknown which factors are predictive for CL. This study aims to investigate whether in twin pregnancies baseline maternal and obstetrical characteristics are ...

Second trimester cervical length and prolonged pregnancy*
The Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine, 2016To determine whether second trimester transvaginal ultrasound cervical length (CL) is associated with prolonged pregnancy (≥41 0/7 weeks) in nulliparous women who reach term (≥37 weeks) with a planned vaginal delivery.Retrospective cohort of nulliparous singletons 18 0/7-23 6/7 weeks gestation undergoing CL screening from 1/1/12 to 12/31/13.
