Aggressive Neoplasms That Mimic Chronic Endodontic Lesions: A Multi‐Institutional Case Series

ABSTRACT This study aimed to report sociodemographic, clinicopathologic and radiological features of 12 cases of aggressive neoplasms that were clinically diagnosed as chronic endodontic lesions. The series comprised seven females (58.33%) and five males (41.67%), with a mean age of 48.9 ± 19.19 years (range: 16–75 years).

ABSTRACT Background Stage II endometrial cancer comprises 5% to 10% of cases and is pathologically diverse. Retrospective data guides recommendations which suggest surgical staging with adjuvant therapy, but the role of radical surgery and lymphadenectomy is uncertain, due to conflicting outcomes.

AbstractHaemangiomas of the head and neck are mainly cutaneous or mucosal; rarely, they may be found in bone or soft tissue. Haemangiomas of lymph nodes are extremely rare; here we present such a case in a cervical lymph node. This is, to the best of our knowledge, only the second report of such an entity.

淋巴浆细胞淋巴瘤(LPL)是由小B淋巴细胞、浆细胞样淋巴细胞和浆细胞组成的肿瘤,可累及骨髓、淋巴结和脾脏等部位。骨髓穿刺活检多见,淋巴结为首次活检诊断极具挑战性。该文讨论肺癌术后多发淋巴结肿大病例,形态学上滤泡间区大量浆细胞及小淋巴细胞,免疫表型支持B细胞和浆细胞,分子检测B细胞克隆性重排和MYD88突变。LPL形态学及免疫表型与其他小B细胞淋巴瘤类似,给临床病理诊断带来困难,容易造成误诊或漏诊,需提高警惕。.
