Oral hyoscine butylbromide exerts spasmolytic effects in both gastrointestinal and urogenital tissues in rats

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 182, Issue 11, Page 2487-2502, June 2025.
Background and Purpose Hyoscine butylbromide (HBB) has a low oral (PO) bioavailability. Further, limited data on its activity on non‐gastrointestinal (GI) smooth muscle spasms after oral dosing are available, causing its effects beyond the GI tract to be questioned.

Feasibility of Intratumoral Administration With EPHB4‐CAR‐T Cells for the Treatment of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 116, Issue 5, Page 1227-1238, May 2025.
Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), the most common type of oral cancer, has a poor prognosis. This study found high Ephrin type‐B receptor 4 (EPHB4) expression, mainly localized on the tumor cell membrane, in most OSCC cases, suggesting EPHB4 as a promising target for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy.
