Cancer incidence, stage at diagnosis, and trends across the Navajo Nation, 2014–2018

open access: yesCancer, Volume 131, Issue 24, 15 December 2025.
Abstract Background American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) people in the United States experience cancer disparities, but little is known about cancer patterns specific to each Tribal Nation. This study describes cancer incidence (2014–2018), trends (1998–2018), and stage of diagnosis across the Navajo Nation, one of the largest sovereign tribal nations

The role of UPR‐related long noncoding RNAs in development of endocrine resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 12, Page 2434-2446, 15 December 2025.
Abstract Breast cancer patients who express estrogen receptor α (ER) typically receive endocrine therapy as a first‐line treatment. Most ER‐positive breast cancer patients initially respond to endocrine therapy, but up to 40% of patients develop resistance over time, and the main mechanism is aberrant activation of ER signaling pathways.

Clinical and genetic features of multiple primary tumours cohorts with a renal cell carcinoma: Implications for molecular genetic investigations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 12, Page 2532-2543, 15 December 2025.
What's New? Current knowledge of the genetic architecture underlying the development of renal cell carcinoma‐related multiple primary tumours is limited. The authors comprehensively analysed the results of exome/genome sequencing cohorts including 534 patients to better define genotype–phenotype correlations.

Analysis of the effect of dual reference lines on first positioning accuracy in intensity‐modulated radiotherapy for cervical cancers

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 26, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Objective To investigate the use of dual‐reference lines to reduce positioning errors and optimize modified planning target volume (MPTV) in volume modulated arc therapy (VMAT) for cervical cancers. Methods Thirty‐seven patients with FIGO stage IIB‐IVA cervical cancer and no distant metastasis, who underwent radiotherapy in a tertiary hospital
