Prophylactic carbetocin versus oxytocin following vaginal delivery among women with high risk for postpartum hemorrhage: A before‐and‐after study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.

Intrapartum CTG characteristics associated with isolated single umbilical artery in term fetuses: A matched case–control study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Fetuses with isolated single umbilical artery (iSUA) were shown to exhibit a higher percentage of late decelerations and shorter decelerations. Fetuses with iSUA show a higher prevalence of overshoots and longer fetal heart reate (FHR) recovery duration.

Perinatal and long‐term implications of diagnosing gestational diabetes mellitus using only fasting and one‐hour post‐load glucose concentrations: Secondary analysis of the GEMS trial and its five‐year follow‐up

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Women with gestational diabetes diagnosed by an elevated fasting ± one‐hour glucose concentration, compared with one‐hour alone, may have higher later diabetes risk, and their children greater perinatal complications and five‐year growth, supporting gestational diabetes subtyping for risk stratification.
