Calculation of parity and time invariance violation in the radium atom [PDF]
Parity (P) and time (T) invariance violating effects in the Ra atom are strongly enhanced due to close states of opposite parity, the large nuclear charge Z and the collective nature of P,T-odd nuclear moments.

A Tracer Diffusion Study of Diverse Photo‐Ionic Phenomena in Strontium Titanate
Two strong interfacial photo‐ionic effects are demonstrated for the model system SrTiO3 through the application of isotope exchange experiments: UV illumination is found to enhance the oxygen surface exchange coefficient by several orders of magnitude and to depress the surface space‐charge potential substantially.

Precision mass measurements of cesium isotopes—new entries in the ISOLTRAP chronicles [PDF]
Alkali ion beams are among the most intense produced by the ISOLDE facility. These were the first to be studied by the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer and ever since, new measurements have been regularly reported. Recently the masses of very neutron-rich and short-lived cesium isotopes were determined at ISOLTRAP.

Materials exist that are useful for gamma scintillation, radiation shielding, neutron‐gamma pulse shape discrimination (PSD), thermal neutron detection, or high refractive index applications. While certain materials have exhibited optimal performance for each of these applications, none achieve multiple functions.

Atomic Parity Nonconservation: Electroweak Parameters and Nuclear Structure
There have been suggestions to measure atomic parity nonconservation (PNC) along an isotopic chain, by taking ratios of observables in order to cancel complicated atomic structure effects.

Hydrogen Spectroscopy with a Lamb-shift Polarimeter - An Alternative Approach Towards Anti-Hydrogen Spectroscopy Experiments [PDF]
A Lamb-shift polarimeter, which has been built for a fast determination of the polarization of protons and deuterons of an atomic-beam source and which is frequently used in the ANKE experiment at COSY-J\"ulich, is shown to be an excellent device for ...

SPECIATION OF CESIUM ISOTOPES IN RIVER WATER: A CASE STUDY IN THE UKEDO RIVER
Abstract 137Cs in river systems can be taken up by aquatic animals. In this paper, total 137Cs concentration in the Ukedo River system and 137Cs presence in dissolved, acid-soluble and -insoluble fractions in river water samples were determined.

Trap‐Assisted Transport and Neuromorphic Plasticity in Lead‐Free 2D Perovskites PEA2SnI4
An artificial retina built from lead‐free layered perovskite (PEA)2SnI4 converts light input into a persistent photocurrent and sums successive flashes over time. Micro/nanocrystals integrated on electrodes act as synapse‐like pixels that perform temporal integration directly in hardware. This in‐sensor preprocessing merges detection and computation on
