Sub‐daily rainfall intermittency: Is it really stochastic? A test at two Australian locations
International Journal of Climatology, Volume 44, Issue 2, Page 552-570, February 2024.Intermittency in sub‐daily rainfall can be characterised in terms of the time sequence of rainfall cessations during the day. Data from two Australian locations show that the first cessation is typically the longest and that the mean duration of cessations tends to decline during the day.
