A new organic nonlinear optical material: L-asparagine cetrimonium bromide single crystal for photonic applications

Chemical Data Collections, 2019
Abstract The new organic nonlinear optical material, L-Asparagine Cetrimonium Bromide (LACB) was synthesized by using slow evaporation method at ambient conduction. The crystallographic data was analyzed by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) and crystalline perfection was studied under high resolution powder X-ray diffraction technique.

Determination of Trace Nickel in Natural Water by Flow Injection Analysis with Cetrimonium Bromide as Sensitizer

Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 2015
2-(5-Bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) is a highly sensitive chromogenic reagent that can react with most of the transition and alkaline earth metals. The Ni(II)-5-Br-PADAP complex is more stable than other metal–5-Br-PADAP complexes. In the presence of seignette salt, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) can decompose most of the

Simple and rapid analytical method for the simultaneous determination of cetrimonium chloride and alkyl alcohols in hair conditioners

International Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2010
SynopsisA simple method for the simultaneous determination of a cationic surfactant (cetrimonium chloride) and four non‐ionic surfactants (1‐tetradecanol, 1‐hexadecanol, 1‐octadecanol and 1‐eicosanol) has been developed. Direct extraction of the analytes from the sample with methanol and a subsequent separation using reversed‐phase high‐performance ...
