NaOH alkali‐sunset yellow FCF dye photosensitizer‐ascorbic acid reductant‐Cetrimonium bromide surfactant based photogalvanic cells: Solar power, storage and spectral study

Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy, 2023
The photogalvanic cell, which works on the photogalvanic effect, has the potential for both solar energy conversation and storage. The dye sensitizer is the main material required for fabrication of these cells as it is a light absorbing agent and also ...

Effect of Cetrimonium Bromide As an Additive on the Morphology and Mechanical Properties of the Electrodeposited Coatings Developed from Ethaline-Based Cyanide-Free Bath

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2022
In the present study, a non-aqueous ethaline-based electroplating bath was prepared without the addition of cyanide complexing agents. Gold coatings were prepared via DC galvanostatic route from the developed bath with and without the presence of ...

Equilibrium Penetration of Monolayers VI: Cholesterol-Cetrimonium Bromide System

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1978
Equilibrium surface pressure-area isotherms for the penetration of cholesterol monolayers by the surfactant cetrimonium bromide are presented. From these isotherms, the saturation adsorptions of surfactant for various surface concentrations of cholesterol were calculated.

Influence of Cetrimonium Bromide on Base-Catalyzed Hydrolysis of p-Substituded Ethyl Benzoates

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1974
The effect of cetrimonium bromide at a concentration above its CMC on the base-catalyzed hydrolysis of eight p-substituted ethyl benzoates was investigated. The p-substituents were chosen on the basis of their Hammett substituent constants and included nitro, cyano, acetyl, fluoro, hydrogen, methoxy, amino, and dimethylamino.

Development and validation of RP–HPLC method for cetrimonium bromide and lidocaine determination

Il Farmaco, 2005
The simple and rapid RP-HPLC method, for the simultaneous determination of lidocaine and cetrimonium bromide in the presence of pellet color corrigent, was developed. Separations were performed on a Beckman Ultrasphere ODS 4.6 mm x 15 cm, 5 microm particle column at 40 degrees C.

Equilibrium Penetration of Monolayers IV: Dipalmitoyllecithin–Cetrimonium Bromide System

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1978
Equilibrium surface pressure-area isotherms of dipalmitoyllecithin monolayers were measured on substrates containing various concentrations of the surfactant, cetrimonium (hexadecyltrimethylammonium) bromide. From these isotherms, the saturation adsorptions of surfactant for various surface lecithin concentrations were calculated.
