Siphon pipe Parameter Optimization of the Toilet Using CFD-DEM Coupling Method
The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element method (DEM) coupling method is used to simulate the flushing process of the toilet and this paper analyzes the influence of different structural parameters of siphon pipe on the flushing ...

Turbulence intensity from 1% to 25% was parametrically tested on a three‐bladed H‐type Darrieus rotor across five tip speed ratios (TSRs) using two‐dimensional URANS. The optimal TSR proved the most efficient and most robust operating point simultaneously, with Cp losses capped at 5.8% even at TI = 25%. ABSTRACT The effect of inlet turbulence intensity

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Cedar Façade Flame Spread With Respect to Sidewall
ABSTRACT In response to growing energy conservation and carbon neutrality efforts, façade systems incorporating wooden materials have attracted increasing attention, which in turn raises concerns about their combustibility. This study presents a combined experimental and numerical investigation of flame spread along cedar façades.

Effect of Microchannel Geometry on Nanoparticle Deposition in Nanofluid Flow
This study numerically analyzed nanoparticle deposition in microchannels with varying geometries. Deposition per unit area decreases significantly with increasing bend angle (28.612 to 8.941 between 30° and 120°) and bend radius (11.922 to 4.769 between 0.2 and 0.4 mm). Acute bends and small radii enhance centrifugal forces and flow separation, leading

This study systematically investigates the variability of cylinder flow results. We provide a comprehensive overview of literature values and, using the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM), show that insufficient convergence studies and variations in simulation parameters are a plausible cause for the significant spread in data.
