Multiscale Coupling of Phase Transition and Urban Flow in Two‐Phase Chlorine Dispersion in Street Canyons

open access: yesSafety Science and Technology, EarlyView.
A multiscale CFD framework reveals that two‐phase effects fundamentally alter hazardous gas dispersion in urban street canyons. Droplet evaporation, vortex‐driven transport, and ventilation jointly control hazard evolution, with wind speed dominating dispersion while temperature plays a secondary role.
