On the Behavior of Two C1 Finite Elements Versus Anisotropic Diffusion

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, EarlyView.
Bi‐cubic Hemite‐Bézier and reduced cubic Hsieh‐Clough‐Tocher finite elements, of class C1, are compared for the solution of a highly anisotropic diffusion equation. They are tested numerically for various ratios of the diffusion coefficients on different meshes, even aligned with the anisotropy.

Mutations in GFAP Alter Early Lineage Commitment of Organoids

open access: yesGlia, EarlyView.
Mutations in GFAP alter lineage commitment of organoids. The severity of this commitment defect is dependent on the method of embryoid body formation. GFAP is expressed in iPSCs and during early stages of organoid development. Graphical abstract was created with BioRender.com .

Uçak kanatlarının CFD analizi

open access: yes, 2004
In this study, it is aimed to gain an experience by the help of the FLUENT software for aerodynamic analyses of aero plane wings, which have a high aspect ratio. So that flow problems around the wing and their solutions will be understood. Moreover, information will be obtained to use the FLUENT software. In point of this aim, firstly the flow problems

Prognostic Significance of Solid Subtype of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma: Analysis of 63 Patients

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Solid subtype of papillary thyroid carcinoma (SSPTC) is an uncommon subtype of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) and its prognostic significance is still controversial. The aim of this review is to present the clinicopathological features of SSPTC and compare its clinical behavior with classical PTC (cPTC).

AI‐Enhanced Design of Hexagonal Shell and Finned Tube Latent Heat Storage System Using Nonuniform Longitudinal Fins and Nanomaterials During Melting

open access: yesHeat Transfer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Thermal energy storage systems incorporating phase‐change materials (PCMs) have difficulties associated with limited thermal conductivity, resulting in ineffective heat storage and retrieval. This study aims to enhance the efficiency of double‐tube latent heat storage systems by utilizing a hexagonal shell augmented with irregular fins and ...
