Polychromatic LED device for measuring CFFF

2015 IEEE 8th International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS), 2015
The paper deals with the device for determining the critical flicker fusion frequency (CFFF). CFFF method is used in ophthalmology and physiology as an indicator of functional lability of the retina and visual pathway. Based on the analysis of available solutions, authors describe the creation of a new instrument.

The Relationship Between Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency (CFFF) and Temperamenta Characteristics

International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics, 2000
The analysis in this paper was based on data obtained from 80 male participants, aged 29-65. Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency (CFFF) was measured using the Flicker Test. The Formal Characteristics of Behaviour Temperament Inventory (FCB-TI) by Strelau and Zawadzki (1993) was used for temperamental characteristics.

A cohesive-frictional force field (CFFF) for colloidal calcium-silicate-hydrates

Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids, 2017
Abstract Calcium-silicate-hydrate (C-S-H) gel is a cohesive-frictional material that exhibits strength asymmetry in compression and tension and normal-stress dependency of the maximum shear strength. Experiments suggest the basic structural component of C-S-H is a colloidal particle with an internal layered structure.

Measurements of mechanical properties of superstructures materials for the CFFF syperconducting MHD magnet

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1981
Argonne National Laboratory is constructing a large superconducting MHD magnet to be used in the Coal-Fired Flow Facility (CFFF) at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Measurements of the mechanical properties of all the materials used in the superstructure (bore tube, cast flanges and deposited weld metal, cast girder segments, aluminum ...

Analysis of Design Parameter Influence on the Dynamic Frequency Response of CFFF Honeycomb Sandwich Plate

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
In the aerospace domain, sandwich plates represent an efficient structural element, providing a high stiffness/weight ratio characteristic. Moreover, when using this structural element, different design parameters and materials of the core can be adopted in order to obtain desired properties.
