Field Tests and the Numerical Analysis of a Pile-Net Composite Foundation for an Intelligent Connected Motor-Racing Circuit

open access: yesBuildings
In response to the problem of significant post-construction settlement that may occur in a motor racing circuit (MRC), two representative composite foundation testing areas, PHC pile (pre-tensioned spun high-strength concrete pile) and CFG pile (cement ...

Deformation behaviors and variable rigidity design with equilibrium settlement for CFG pile composite foundation of large storage tanks

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2018
The foundation of large storage tanks has requirements of large bearing capacity and limited differential settlement. Because the natural foundation generally cannot meet the requirements of bearing capacity and deformation, it needs to be treated. It is

Coupling Parsivel2 Measured Raindrop Size Distributions and Fall Velocity Estimates to Characterise Rainfall Simulators

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study characterises drip‐type and pressurised rainfall simulators using photographic, disdrometric and empirical fall‐velocity approaches. Results show that the Parsivel2 optical disdrometer systematically underestimates raindrop fall velocity for both simulator types.

Securing the Unseen: A Comprehensive Exploration Review of AI‐Powered Models for Zero‐Day Attack Detection

open access: yesExpert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Zero‐day exploits remain challenging to detect because they often appear in unknown distributions of signatures and rules. The article entails a systematic review and cross‐sectional synthesis of four fundamental model families for identifying zero‐day intrusions, namely, convolutional neural networks (CNN), deep neural networks (DNN ...

Fabrication of Multifunctional FeSi Gyroid Lattice Composites via Additive Manufacturing and Polymer Infiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 3, 4 February 2026.
A two‐step approach combining laser powder bed fusion of FeSi electrical steel with Bakelite infiltration enables the fabrication of multifunctional gyroid lattice composites. The resulting structures exhibit high strength, magnetic anisotropy, and complete polymer infiltration, demonstrating a simple and scalable route toward lightweight, mechanically

Deep Learning Architectures for Software Fault Prediction: The Impact of Error‐Type Metrics and Class Imbalance

open access: yesConcurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Volume 38, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Software fault prediction (SFP) plays a crucial role in modern software development by enabling early identification of fault‐prone modules and efficient allocation of testing resources. While deep learning approaches have shown promise in this domain, challenges persist regarding architectural choices, metric selection, and class imbalance ...

Sig2text: A Vision‐Language Model for Non‐Cooperative Radar Signal Parsing

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
We propose Sig2text, a symbolic radar signal recognition and parameter estimation framework that treats waveform analysis as a parsing task using a vision‐language model. By integrating time‐frequency representations with a context‐free grammar and transformer‐based architectures, Sig2text accurately identifies complex modulation types and estimates ...
