Distributed AutoML framework for multi‐objective optimization of concrete crack segmentation models
Abstract Monitoring cracks in concrete surfaces is essential for structural safety. While machine vision techniques have received significant interest in this domain, selecting optimal models and tuning hyperparameters remain challenging. This paper proposes a Distributed Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) framework for efficiently designing and ...

Tensile Behavior of Concrete‐Filled Steel Tubular Column Splices Using Perforated Steel Plates
This study proposes a CFST column splice design transferring stress through infilled concrete using welded perforated steel plates. Pull‐out tests on the perforated steel plates were conducted to develop a strength prediction formula, which was validated through tensile experiments on column splices and predicted their tensile capacity.

Study on collapse mechanism of steel frame with CFST-columns under column-removal scenario [PDF]
The design of structure against progressive collapse has tended towards more quantitative design where utilizing catenary action becomes essential. In this paper, a single internal column removal test was conducted for a 1/3 scale 4-bay steel frame with ...

This study investigated the seismic behavior and stress transfer mechanisms of through‐diaphragm beam‐to‐column connections of CFST columns with different upper and lower sizes. An ultimate strength formula based on yield‐line theory that incorporates concrete bearing resistance is proposed, and its predictions agree well with the experimental results.
