Useful CGE Modelling Packages

2016
This chapter introduces the popular packages for CGE modelling, namely, General Equilibrium Model Package (GEMPACK) and General Algebraic Modelling System (GAMS). Due to the relative simplicity of using GEMPACK, this chapter illustrates how to use this package to create a CGE model and how to conduct a CGE simulation.

The impact on electric power industry under the implementation of national carbon trading market in China: A dynamic CGE analysis

Journal of Cleaner Production, 2018
As the largest carbon emissions source sector, electric power industry is undoubtedly a principal part of the carbon trading market in China. Aimed at researching the impact on power industry beyond establishing the national carbon trading market, a ...

The Standard CGE Model

2010
The ‘simple CGE model’ presented in Chapter 2 is equipped with only the essential features of a very basic macroeconomic model, and thus it cannot be used for empirical analyses. Here, we extend the model by incorporating the following four features. First, we introduce intermediate inputs into the production process.

AMPLE-CGE Model: User Guide

2017
This user guide is written to help prospective users learn how to navigate and run the AMPLE-CGE model. In the beginning, users will learn how to run the finished model and to display results in a software called Generalized Algebraic Modeling System or GAMS. Subsequently, the significance of and other important instructions concerning each part of the

The CGE Tool Box

2017
As whole genome sequence data of microorganisms are becoming easily accessible and cheap to produce, a transformation of the traditional methods used for typing, phenotyping and phylogenetic analysis of microorganisms is on the way. Following the anticipation that most clinical microbiological and food safety laboratories will soon have a sequencer in ...

Consumer-side actions in a low-carbon economy: A dynamic CGE analysis for Spain

Energy Policy, 2018
In recent decades, the need to strengthen efforts to reduce GHG emissions to combat Climate Change has become a major global concern, as reflected in the 2015 Paris Agreement and the EU Climate strategy (2016).

Environmental Policy Analysis Using CGE Models

2000
Given the challenge of more restrictive environmental regulation in the near future, it is becoming more and more important to quantify the costs of such a policy. Policies aimed at significantly reducing environmental problems such as global warming, acid rain, deforestation, waste disposal or any other degradation of the quality of air, water, soil ...

Assessment of carbon leakage by channels: An approach combining CGE model and decomposition analysis

Energy Economics, 2018
As carbon leakage occurs through the channels of competitiveness, demand and energy, a detailed study of leakage channels in a unified framework is clearly warranted.

Canine granulocytic ehrlichiosis (cge) in Italy

Acta Veterinaria Hungarica, 2003
Medical records of thirty-five consecutive cases of canine granulocytic ehrlichiosis (CGE) diagnosed cytologically in Central Italy in 1995-2000 were analysed retrospectively. Tick exposure was reported in 16 dogs (45.7%) and concurrent babesiosis in 19 dogs (54.3%). Ehrlichia-like inclusion bodies were found in neutrophils in a percentage varying from
