Partially Air‐Filled Skin‐Attachable Deformable Gasket with Negative Poisson's Ratio for Highly‐Efficient Stretchable Thermoelectric Generators

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 13, Issue 40, October 27, 2023., 2023
A wearable thermoelectric generator (WTEG) is developed that converts heat into electricity. A deformable gasket is utilized as a leg support with negative Poisson's ratio, allowing for 2D expansion in both directions. This gasket tightly wraps around the human skin, minimizing heat loss.

Expression of insulin‐like growth factor genes in olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, fed a diet with partial replacement of dietary fish meal

open access: yesJournal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 54, Issue 1, Page 131-142, February 2023., 2023
Abstract This study analyzed the expression of growth‐related genes of olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, fed a low‐fish meal (FM) diet to investigate the replacement of the FM diet in the field. The expression of growth hormone (GH)/insulin‐like growth factor (IGF) axis genes in the brain/pituitary/liver and plasma hormone concentrations were ...

Randomised clinical trial: comparison of tegoprazan and lansoprazole as maintenance therapy for healed mild erosive oesophagitis

open access: yesAlimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 57, Issue 1, Page 72-80, January 2023., 2023
In this phase 3, double‐blind, multi‐centre study, patients with endoscopically confirmed healederosive oesophagitis were randomised 1:1 to receive tegoprazan 25 mg or lansoprazole 15 mg once daily for up to 24 weeks. The endoscopic remission rate after 24 weeks was 90.6% for the tegoprazan group and 89.5% for the lansoprazole group.
