Separation Performance of Si-CHA Zeolite Membrane for a Binary H2/CH4 Mixture and Ternary and Quaternary Mixtures Containing Impurities

, 2020
The separation of H2/CH4 mixtures is very common in the natural gas and petrochemical industries. There are some higher C2–C4 hydrocarbons and water vapor that are used as impurity gases.

Evolution of active sites during selective oxidation of methane to methanol over Cu-CHA and Cu-MOR zeolites as monitored by operando XAS

Catalysis Today, 2019
The local structural and electronic properties of Cu sites during the direct conversion of methane to methanol with molecular oxygen was followed by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) on a set of Cu-zeolites with different topology (large pore MOR and ...

Effect of sintering temperature on the morphology, crystallinity and mechanical properties of carbonated hydroxyapatite (CHA)

Ceramics International, 2020
Effect of sintering temperature on the physical and mechanical properties of synthesized B-type carbonated hydroxyapatite (CHA) over a range of temperature in CO2 atmosphere has been investigated.

Magnetostratigraphy of young pliocene volcanics at Santo Antão, Cape Verde Islands: The Escabecada and Chã de Morte Profile

Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, Part A: Solid Earth and Geodesy, 2000
Abstract Palaeomagnetic investigations of the lava flows in two profiles on the island of Sao Antao are presented. It is concluded that the ca. 290 m Cha de Morte-Profile is dominantly of reverse polarity, equivalent to a Lower Matuyama age (between 2.1 and 2.6 Ma). The slightly older Escabecada Profile, covering 15 lava flows, ca.

Integrating PDA microtube waveguide system with heterogeneous CHA amplification strategy towards superior sensitive detection of miRNA.

Biosensors & bioelectronics, 2019
Catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) is a typical enzyme-free amplification strategy, in which the target can catalyze two hairpin probes to form a duplex and yield multiple outputs signal. However, the non-specific hybridization of two hairpin probes in CHA

Spectroscopic Identification of the α-Fe/α-O Active Site in Fe-CHA Zeolite for the Low-Temperature Activation of the Methane C-H Bond.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2018
The formation of single-site α-Fe in the CHA zeolite topology is demonstrated. The site is shown to be active in oxygen atom abstraction from N2O to form a highly reactive α-O, capable of methane activation at room temperature to form methanol.

High-flux CHA zeolite membranes for H2 separations

Journal of Membrane Science, 2018
Two types of CHA zeolite membranes (SAPO-34 and SSZ-13) were used for the separations of CO2/H2 and H2/CH4 binary mixtures at pressures up to 2.8 MPa. Separation performances of both membranes were improved after synthesis modifications.

Defect detection of wall paintings in the Château de Versailles using TV-holography and IR thermography

SPIE Proceedings, 2007
Monuments are continuously submitted to external events like water infiltration or condensation, temperature variation, soil instability, that lead to internal damage of the structure itself as well as of its surfaces. Wall paintings are then submitted to stresses that may cause cracks, internal de-lamination of the plaster or de-bonding between ...
