A representation theorem for Chain rings [PDF]

open access: yesColloquium Mathematicum, 2003
Though usually a left `chain ring' means any ring whose left ideals are totally ordered by inclusion, in this paper the authors understand by a chain ring any local ring with identity, both sided Artinian and principal ideal ring. The main purpose of this paper it to establish a representation theorem for such rings in terms of appropriate homomorphic ...

(2RS)-3-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-2-(1-oxo-1H-2,3-dihydroisoindol-2-yl)propanoic acid monohydrate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The title compound, C₁₇H₁₅NO₄·H₂O, derived from DL-tyrosine crystallizes as an unusual hydrogen-bonded acid-monohydrate dimer. The asymmetric unit contains two organic molecules and two water molecules.

Constacyclic codes over finite local Frobenius non-chain rings of length 5 and nilpotency index 4

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2020
The family of finite local Frobenius non-chain rings of length 5 and nilpotency index 4 is determined, as a by-product all finite local Frobenius non-chain rings with p5 elements (p a prime) and nilpotency index 4 are given.

Some Constacyclic Codes over Finite Chain Rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
For $\lambda$ an $n$-th power of a unit in a finite chain ring we prove that $\lambda$-constacyclic repeated-root codes over some finite chain rings are equivalent to cyclic codes. This allows us to simplify the structure of some constacylic codes.

Constacyclic Codes over Finite Chain Rings of Characteristic p

open access: yesAxioms, 2021
Let R be a finite commutative chain ring of characteristic p with invariants p,r, and k. In this paper, we study λ-constacyclic codes of an arbitrary length N over R, where λ is a unit of R.

Rings with annihilator chain conditions and right distributive rings [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1993
We prove that if a right distributive ring R R , which has at least one completely prime ideal contained in the Jacobson radical, satisfies either a.c.c or d.c.c. on principal right annihilators, then the prime radical of R R is the right singular ideal of R R and is completely prime and nilpotent ...

On-the-fly ab initio semiclassical dynamics: Identifying degrees of freedom essential for emission spectra of oligothiophenes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Vibrationally resolved spectra provide a stringent test of the accuracy of theoretical calculations. We combine the thawed Gaussian approximation (TGA) with an on-the-fly ab initio (OTF-AI) scheme to calculate the vibrationally resolved emission spectra ...

2-(2,4-Dinitrophenyl)-1-(pyridin-4-yl)ethanol monohydrate

open access: yesIUCrData, 2021
In the title compound, C13H11N3O5·H2O, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 9.60 (7)° and the chain linking the rings has an anti conformation with a torsion angle of −178.28 (12)°. In the crystal, the components are linked by O—H...O and O—H.

New azobenzene liquid crystal with dihydropyrazole heterocycle and photoisomerization studies [PDF]

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science, 2020
New azobenzene derivatives with dihydropyrazole heterocycle have been prepared and characterized. According to thermal polarizing microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry studies, the compounds consisting of four linearly linked rings and a long ...

Bicyclonucleosides and Ring-Chain Interconversion

open access: yesNucleosides and Nucleotides, 1999
Four types of bicyclonucleosides differing in the easiness of their ring-chain interconversion have been prepared, some exhibited anti-HIV activity and the ratio of their cyclic and open-chain forms could have some bearing on their biological activity.
