Internal unit chain composition in amylopectins
Carbohydrate Polymers, 2008Abstract A series of 17 samples represented a diverse collection of different starch granules from different plants. The amylose content ranged from 0% to 28% and the crystallinity was established to represent A, B and C allomorphic types. The amylopectin components were isolated and their unit chain distributions analysed by anion-exchange ...

Polyelectrolytes with Main‐Chain Perylene Units
Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2012AbstractA new soluble polyamine with main chain perylene units is synthesized and subsequently converted into cationic or zwitterionic polyelectrolytes. The optical properties of the monomer 1,6,7,12‐tetrakis(4‐tert‐butylphenoxy)‐3,4,9,10‐tetra(bromomethyl)perylene and the resulting polymers have been studied with special attention to ongoing de ...

The statics of one-dimensional rigid units chain subject to stretching force is analyzed. The potential energy of adjacent units interaction is assumed in the simple periodic form (harmonic in the small distortion limit). The position angles of subsequent units are given by the system of two iteration equations, one of them being irreversible.

Unit and internal chain profiles of maca amylopectin
Food Chemistry, 2018Unit chain length distributions of amylopectin and its φ, β-limit dextrins, which reflect amylopectin internal structure from three maca starches, were determined by high-performance anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection after debranching, and the samples were compared with maize starch.

Polyamides having long methylene chain units
Journal of Polymer Science Part A-1: Polymer Chemistry, 1966AbstractThree series of polyamides having long methylene chain units have been prepared from p‐xylylenebisethylamine and 2,2′‐pphenylenebisethylamine with aliphatic dicarboxylic acids of long methylene chain units; aliphatic diamines of long methylene chain units with terephthalic, p‐benzenediacetic, and p‐benzenedipropionic acids; and aliphatic ...

Polymers with Cycloaliphatic Units in the Chain
Journal of Macromolecular Science: Part A - Chemistry, 1985Abstract This paper describes the synthesis and characterization of some polycondensation polymers (poly- and copolyamides, polyesters) which contain cycloaliphatic units in their chains. Syntheses were carried out by a low-temperature polycondensation technique (interfacial and solution), and also by the Yamazaki method in NMP-pyridine solution using ...
