Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

基于ANSYS的链条抽油机链板可靠性影响因素分析

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2013
In order to study the structure reliability of the chain drive pumping unit chain plate, the chain plate of the type of LCJ12-5-14 chain drive pumping unit as an example, the analysis is carried out by ANSYS software. On the basis of the reliability ...

A second monoclinic polymorph of N-(diethylaminothiocarbonyl)-N′-phenylbenzamidine

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2011
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C18H21N3S, contains five molecules. The equivalent bond distances in the five molecules are in excellent agreement, the r.m.s. fit being within 0.007 Å.

Eliciting and representing a supply chain strategy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Purpose. The purpose of this paper is two-fold: first, to propose a framework that can be used to represent a supply chain strategy for a business unit in a clear and actionable manner; second, to propose a method that can be used to elicit the factual ...

Topology of Entanglement in Multipartite States with Translational Invariance

open access: yes, 2013
The topology of entanglement in multipartite states with translational invariance is discussed in this article. Two global features are foundby which one can distinguish distinct states.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Resonant transmission of light through finite chains of subwavelength holes

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper we show that the extraordinary optical transmission phenomenon found before in 2D hole arrays is already present in a linear chain of subwavelength holes, which can be considered as the basic geometrical unit showing this property. In order

Molecular characterisation of human penile carcinoma and generation of paired epithelial primary cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.
