In Situ Electrochemical Activation of Pseudo‐Layered NbS3 via Interlayer Expansion and Dual Redox for High Mg‐Ion Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A quasi‐1D pseudo‐layered NbS3 cathode for magnesium‐ion batteries can be created through electrochemically induced interlayer expansion. The widened ion‐transport channels enable fast magnesium ion diffusion and unlock coupled cationic‐anionic redox chemistry.

Dislocation‐Driven Formation of Oriented Macroperiodic Metastructures of Curved Single Crystal Lattices in Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Single crystals fabricated in glass by localized heating can develop uniquely deformed lattices stabilized by the surrounding amorphous medium. The development of lattice curvature appears to be intrinsic to the crystal growth process in some systems ...

Local density of states and superconducting gap in the iron chalcogenide superconductor Fe$_{1+\delta}$Se$_{1-x}$Te$_{x}$ observed by scanning tunneling spectroscopy

open access: yes, 2009
We report on the first investigation of the quasiparticle local density of states and superconducting gap in the iron chalcogenide superconductor Fe$_{1+\delta}$Se$_{1-x}$Te$_{x}$ ($T_{\mathrm{c}} \sim 14$ K). The surface of a cleaved crystal revealed an

Decoding Structure‐Property Relationships in Anion Exchange Membranes via a Chemically Informed Dual‐Channel Graph Attention Network

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SPARK decodes structure‐property relationships in anion exchange membranes (AEMs) via a chemically informed dual‐channel graph attention network (DEGAT) that explicitly captures microphase separation. It outputs five‐level grades for hydroxide conductivity and alkaline stability and highlights relevant key structural units, enabling robust pre ...

Redox‐Active Tungsten Mono‐Oxo Bis(dithiolene) Complex: A Fast‐Rechargeable Anode for High‐Capacity Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports the first application of a W‐oxo bis(dithiolene) complex, (Et4N)2[WO(S2C2(C6H5)2)2], as a novel anode material for lithium‐ion batteries. This complex stores Li+ ions via multivalent W‐centered redox processes involving its oxo (WO) and dithiolene (S) sites.

Integrated photo-responsive metal oxide semiconductor circuit [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
An infrared photoresponsive element (RD) is monolithically integrated into a source follower circuit of a metal oxide semiconductor device by depositing a layer of a lead chalcogenide as a photoresistive element forming an ohmic bridge between two ...
